Starting A Class

Communities interested in LeadershipPlenty training must identify a local organization or steering group willing to sponsor the program. The local sponsoring organization will:
  • Complete the application and submit to LeadershipPlenty Nebraska

  • Make critical decisions about local program specifics including:
    • Identifying a Community Encourager
    • Identify a Steering Committee of at least 4 people
    • Logistics, when and where the program will take place
    • Participant recruitment and selection process
  • Recruit a group of 15-30 participants
  • Identify in-kind contributions and financial support

Community Coordinator

Every local program will a community coordinator who may be a volunteer or paid staff person. The Community Coordinator will:
  • Serve as local liaison between LeadershipPlenty Nebraska, the local sponsoring organization, the facilitator and the participants
  • Support the local sponsoring organization in its efforts to:
    • Manage logistics
    • Recruit a group of 15-30 participants
    • Identify in-kind contributions and financial support ($4,500 program fee)
